Short summary - Insurance came out and estimated the costs to repair my home after damage. They gave me a check for the amount they thought would be appropriate and said I could ask for more if the contractor needed it. I had 3 contractors come out to give me estimates.
We were very happy and impressed with the prompt reply and service on our roof. Also, the billing was very convenient!
Note - I didn't have any work done by Rocky's but I didn't have a great experience with the estimates part so I figured I would write a review.
Two of the contractors came out and sent me estimates within a few days. Rocky's refused to give me any type of estimate at all until I signed paperwork stating they would be the ones I go with. I thought this was extremely odd especially since the other two gave me estimates without hassle. Rocky was a nice guy and I may have gone with him if I got an estimate from him, but it just seemed fishy that I was required to sign paperwork before he would give me any estimate at all.
They were fair, fast, and effective. I'm happy to leave their sign in the front yard.
I would never recommend them to anyone, I manager a couple hundred properties in DC, VA & MD. I will not refer them to anyone & they have missed out on a a lot of business. I spoke to the owners wife & she told me I had never called previously & that I had a bad attitude because, on the 4th call I still had not received what I requested.
